Teenage

This class is for teenagers of any age (13-19). There are sequences every week for an aerobic element, a lot of strong poses – balances and inversions and so on, 5 minutes sitting and breathing and 5 minutes lying down.

It works on flexibility, strength, posture, and confidence as well as providing some strategies for coping with stress.

There are yoga mats and straps available. As with my other classes, each student recieves a 'stick man' lesson plan each week - this is particularly useful for record-keeping for Duke of Edinburgh participants - yoga is one of the suggested 'Physical' activities in the Fitness category.

I have an up to date CRB check. I have taught teenagers since I first qualified to teach English in 1982.

Thursdays 6.15-7.15 at Friends Meeting House, Hartington Grove. Dates : 12th November, 19th November, 3rd December, 10th December – £6 per class.
