About Me - Sally Lander
I started yoga in 1994 because my back was hurting, I carried on because my back stopped hurting and then so did my knees.
Eventually I found that with a lot of work on the physical postures my mind had become a little quieter, and now I sit and breathe quietly every day.
Now I don't know if what I'm doing in this picture looks impressive to you - it's not the best backbend in the world - but to me it's almost miraculous! I never did this stuff when I was a child - always too busy talking or reading. Now I can stand on my head too, never thought that would happen!
I teach and practise a wide range of yoga things, most not as dramatic but useful and fun.
